When I started planning an engagement session for this fabulous young couple, they mentioned that because they would be moving out of the country after the wedding, they were hoping I would capture the feel of Ottawa in their photos. I'm back in Ottawa. And although I miss the rotating sushi restaurants and the ubiquitous and monolith-esque pop-machines of Japan, it's good to be back. I think it was only a couple of weeks after returning before I headed to Toronto for a wedding shoot. Being a photographer originally from Toronto, I find myself getting called back quite often....

Just a quick post to say that I'm currently in Japan and will be back in Ottawa in a few weeks. Here are a few images from the first couple of days of roaming. I have to say, I'm finding it difficult at times to photograph here--mainly because I abhor looking like a tourist. I suppose there is no avoiding this..
